Although currently very popular and trendy in the health and wellness movement sweeping the globe, Kombucha is thought to have originated in Northeast Asia over 2000 years ago. This ancient, fermented tea is full of naturally occurring, gut-friendly probiotics which contribute to healthy gut flora and replenish depleted good bacterias. In a world where exposure to antibiotics is at all all-time high due to prescription drugs, altered water and corporate farming (both agriculture and livestock) everyone can benefit from home-brewed, plant-based, naturally formed probiotics.
During this workshop, you will sample kombucha in its two stages (1F - ‘raw’ kombucha and 2F flavoured kombucha) learn how to brew and flavour your own! We will demonstrate both stages, and you will leave with the tools necessary to start your own brew.
